For the holidays we are going to be making stocking with little toys inside. What you buy should be around 5-10 dollars.  You can find things at the dollar store or cvs. You and your patrol will meet up and make the stocking to hand in next meeting.

For thanksgiving we will be donating pies to the Smithtown Emergency Food Pantry.  The frozen pies need to be dropped off at the church on Monday November 14th during the meeting.  Try to get a pie because they will be given to people who cant afford a thanksgiving dinner.

Our troop will be having it annual wreath sale. Each scout is required to make at least 6 wreaths.  The wreaths will be sold for $15.00 each.  If you need more you can call Tom Perino. You can get more wreaths after if needed. You will have to decorate the wreaths when you get them. [...]

Troop 565′s court of honor is going to be on October 24th 2011. Scouts will receive their rank advancements and also the parents will get pins.  Remind your parents to wear their red ribbons.  The merit badges patches or certificates that you have earned will also be handed out.  Afterwards we will be having refreshments.
